The CRM Signature widget will provide a box in which a user will be able to sign with their name. The resulting signature will be stored against the record you are working with as a note. 

Configuration

Basic Setup

  1. From The Portal Connector widget list, click and drag the CRM Signature widget into the body of your form.

  2. There are some settings for you to configure should you desire. Click on the edit button to display the properties prompt. It should look like this:

Appearance

  1. Once you have finished configuring the basic settings, click on the Appearance tab. It should look like this:

  2. Once you have finished configuring your widget, click save to save it.

Basic Properties

Title

The Title text box will allow you to set the label of your widget. The title will usually appear above the associated widget.

Height

You can set the height of the map by giving a numeric value to this property. By default, its set to 500px. 

Height - Signature widget

The Height text box allows you to adjust the height of the widget. In this case, height is measured in pixels (px). Some widgets, including the CRM Notes widget, will apply a scrollbar to the list of notes if it exceeds its given height.

Upload Type

The Upload Type radio buttons allows you to define if the uploaded file is a SharePoint document or a note.

Make Required

The Make Required checkbox will not allow a user to successfully submit the form until there is data within it. Upon selecting the checkbox you will be prompted to enter an error message for invalid input.

Make Hidden

The Make Hidden property will hide the widget from the form.

Pen Colour

The Pen Colour property will determine the colour of the brush for the CRM Signature widget, and will provide a colour picker to determine which colour for the widget to use.

Advanced Properties

Advanced properties provide additional functionality. They can be accessed by clicking on the "Advanced" Button in the bottom right corner of the widget designer.
