There are two settings under Settings > Advanced > PortalConnector > General Settings -

    Allow Editing Inactive Records
When checked, inactive records and records on the Entity State List that are disabled for editing will not be editable in The Portal Connector forms.

Allow Changing Status on Inactive Records
When checked, inactive records will allow the status to be changed.

I added two entities to the Entity State List and configured the state codes (Active 0, Inactive 1) and toggling the settings does nothing, I can still edit, submit, and even change the status back to Active.

Am I missing an additional step to get this to work? Thanks!

    Hi Elizabeth,

The issue appears to be reproducible on our end. I will escalate this to the product team for them to investigate.
As a temporary workaround, you could set the status widget to read-only when the record is inactive.

Please let me know if this feasible for you.

    Regards,
    Rawdon
