We have a new requirement that we need the CRM to send an email to contact when they successfully changed their Portal Account password.

Is there any way that we can know if the contact has updated their portal account password on the portal from the CRM side?

We place the built-in widget: Change password (which is under the Login section) on a web page.
Users can change their password on that page.

    Thanks!

Have you considered using D365 Track Email feature for the User/Email that is used for sending Password reset / change? Another approach might be using Power Automate on Form submission. Another approach would be to use the "When changes are made" open specific page - add a static value or something that triggers in Dynamics then you can run WF or PowerAutomate on that field. Hope this helps.
