    Hi,

I am testing a TPC/Sitefinity environment's error handling. I have set up a form (using mapped TPC widgets, but otherwise unmodified) that will fail on submission, and I've come across a contradicting issue. When I click Submit, I get the confirmation message ("Success! Thanks for filling out our form"), but when I check the error log in Administration, I find an error log entry related to the form submission. How can I resolve the submission behavior the client sees to accurately represent errors?

    Hi Mondy,

Currently we do not support exposing the error messages to the client on submission however this is on the road map as it has been identified as a positive feature for The Portal Connector.

Additionally, you are able to go into the CRM Form Submissions underneath The Portal Connector main menu in order to resubmit any failed submissions.

    Kind Regards,

    Chris Rooney.

I"m primarily concerned about my end users, in this situation, and they wouldn't have access to TPC back-end. Is there any workaround we can provide to indicate that the submission failed?

    Hi Mondy,

Unfortunately there is no workaround for this at the moment.

    Kind Regards,

    Chris Rooney.

    Hi,
Is this feature not available in The Portal Connector 3.3?
It's very confusing that the form has been submitted successfully when it actually has not. In my opinion, it is a very wrong behaviour.

    Thank you,
    Aleksandr

I've found a solution. I was looking at the settings of a wrong widget and have checked Page Widget, instead of a Form Widget.
    A solution is here: link.

    Thank you,
    Aleksandr
